1.
Measure
out 10X10 meter transects in the forested area of your choice.
2.
Number
the trees large enough to be measured.
3.
Measure
66 feet away from each tree and mark the area.
4.
Using
a clinometer, measure the top slope (first tree branches) and bottom slope (where
ground meets bottom of tree) of each tree.
5.
Using
a tape measure, find circumference of the trees.
